I know this probably shouldnt go here, but anyway.
I recently Purchased a bottle of Lucozade from Morrisons, it was 12 years out of date.
Anyway I E-mailed them and I've just spoke to them, they are having some work done in their store etc, it was found by one of the workmen and some-how got placed on the reduced item shelves, lol
So I'm going in this afternoon, they've offered us some money off shopping or a meal in their cafe.
Realistically what should I be expecting?

take the money of the shopping and whatever % they offer ask for 5% more and then load up for the month.
That is a long best before date lol!!!The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
4 people on the ignore list....Bliss!0 -
ROFL @ Hollydays. Though in Morri's defence the cafe (at least in Sidcup) isn't all that bad.
But as NeilMcl asked, what are you expecting? IMHO, anything more than a refund and replacement (i.e. 200% return on your original outlay) is generous.0 -
no,I was joking, the cafes aren't that bad excepting the profusion of fried food.:D0

:eek:gosh your morrisons cafe must be a rarety (sp) ours is awful.......the "hot" foods usually cold staff walk round with a bad attitude chewing their cud!!!;) bit like lauren off catherine tate and vicky off little britain LOL
with regards to the OP, most ppl check the dates on reduced items even whilst nearing bbe dates the staff that maintain the shelves are only human and mistakes happen.
its only a bbe date and if the bottle wasnt damaged and the liquid smelt ok would of been safe to drink!
take their offer, and forget about it!!! your not gonna get much else.0 -
