I wanna buy a Honda Civic

Well actually it's my dad who wants to buy a new Honda Civic. He's looking at the dealers but I thought seeing as I'm a money saving expert now I'd check the site to see if anyone had an tops or ideas how he can save money.

He normally just goes to the main dealer as far as I know.

Can anyone help?

i'm fairly sure it's one of those cars where you don't get fantastic discounts ...probably because they don't need to...see honest john and look at deals of the week

Honest John's deals do not appear to be as good as they once were. Same old dealers & same old prices each day. What happened???

I work at a Honda delearship, and when buying a new car, you are just as well going to a dealership, as savings from car supermarkets etc are not really that great. You may save a couple of hundred quid going to a car supermarket / online etc. but personally i would like to see where my car is coming from, having a proper handover from a salesperson who knows the car, meeting the service department, knowing who to call when anything happens, the list is endless.

Oh, and the new civic is brill (i got one!)
