escort van clutch problem

i have a problem with my clutch in that it seems to be not fully disengaging. it's like the bite point is at the furthest point of pedal travel. it is also sometimes a bit juddery when pulling away.

do i need a new clutch or is the problem with the adjustment of the cable?

many thanks

hi, it does seem like the clutch is on the way out.....ther isnt any adjustment on the cable as such...however using a 6mm allen key you could try adjusting the clutch pedal, this is located at the top of the pedal in a recessed hole, this has got people out of a muddle for a while in the past...just dont do it too much you might end up driving with your knee round your ear lobe :rotfl::rotfl:turn it a coulpe of turns at a time to bring pedal height up this should help in the short term
