Well, after another month with no refund. Was assured it was posted - but never arrived. Sent a final notice with 7 days to respond - nothing again, so CC company re-activated the dispute, refunded me the money and are now chasing their bank ... at least I am not out of pocket now.

Wondered if anyone could help.
I ordered a wedding ring from NOC on 1st January and my story seems to be very similar to the above one. I have been fobbed off with various different excuses and lies. Since about 2 weeks ago I am unable to contact them on the phone, they dont reply to emails or voice messages and im just at my wits end.
I have contacted my bank who are sending me the forms to start a chargeback? Its all new territory to me im just getting so frustrated by the whole situation.
I just phoned the British Jewllers Assosication who told me that NOC had their BJA membership cancelled on 3rd November 2010 because they were, in her words, shoddy.
If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.0 -

:DGood Morning all,
I have just been looking at reviews/complaints against the above and to my dismay have found loads:mad: I ordered a pendant for a friends 40th birthday and much like many others on this site as well as others did not receive it now am doing my utmost to get the money back they however are following their apparant usual pattern of ignore ignore and fob off via email. Had to threaten them with court action under the 1974 sale of goods act to get them to reply they say they have sent the refund but looking at other comments appears to be step 3 in their stalling plan!! so I have contacted watchdog now if anyone else is in the same position please contact watchdog if they have enough complaints about these cowboys maybe they will do something. I have been in touch with bank but so far they have not come back think i will end up taking them to court wish I could actually wind them up so they dont do this to anyone else anyone know how to go about getting a winding up order against a firm? they must be insolvant why else do this what ever else you do do NOT USE THESE PEOPLE BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!
ANY Advice gratefully received

If you paid by credit or visa debit card, you might find it easiest to get the refund by initiating a chargeback through your card-issuer.0

GRRRRRR:mad: Nuttals of Chester!!!!!!! I'm in the same boat too... Ordered my engagement ring on the 28th December however it still hasn't arrived... I was told it had arrived in the wrong gold....:( I ring most days to be told various lies... I have been told my item is "hand made" socan't have a refund. I have pointed out that they have breached there contract on the agreed delivery and have been given until the 3rd March or I will be attending in person to have a refund. As per other thread on this site I have e mailed Watch dog. This company should not be able to continue to trade. Sham, sham!!!0

.....Weve had the same experience may we suggest you go to moneyclaim.gov.uk and make these people give your money back, its the only thing we could do. It costs £35 but you can claim that back, also add up all your phone calls youve made to these people, cost of registered mail etc you can reclaim anything these people have taken from you. Best of luck.
