Hi there!
I bought a used car for £8500 today from arnold clark which was sold by the salesperson wrongly by saying that it has cruise control as part of steering controls but turnns out they are just audio control buttons.
Have i got any right to return the car and what is the best way to approach the dealership?
Thanks for the help.

You didn't take it for a test drive? You don't know anything about cruise control but decided not to ask or have a demonstration on how it worked?
You will of course have it written down somewhere (sales advert, receipt) that it had cruise control?0 -
If you can prove that it was described as having Cruise Control then yes you can return it for a ful refund.0

This a Wind up??
Seriously, did you really spend £8,500 on a car but not even look inside it or check everything was working??
I've had Cruise for many years and used it probably about 2% of my driving time (if that).0 -
Cruise control in the UK is useless anyway. If you otherwise like the car, what's the problem?
Cruise control in the US however, with endless miles of carriageway to yourself, was a good way of saving my right foot!Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j
