    2 x hoodies and 2x leggings with the £5 discount voucher = £8

  • Worked for me tonight when I bought amongst other stuff but a pal bought them items alone at the self service till and the operator wouldn't authorise the £5 off voucher.

Won't it still give you the same amount of credit though (13 or 14 pounds depending on which size sweatshirt you buy) whether you pick up the leggings or not?
In which case you might aswell have the leggings?

Or does it take extra money off if you don't get the leggings giving you a bigger credit to use on something else?

No, the way it works with the leggings is this -
2 hoodies at £10 each (the cheapest ones/smaller sizes), and 2 leggings at £3 each (again, smaller sizes). Glitch takes off the cost of one hoodie and one pair of leggings = £13, leaving £13 to pay. Use your £5 off voucher, and this leaves a total of £8 to pay.

If you just buy 2 hoodies at £10 each, you have to add another item of clothing at £5 (to take you to the £25 spend), then the glitch will take off the cost of one hoodie, leaving £15 to pay, then £5 off voucher, leaving £10 to pay.
But, if you pick the larger sized hoodies (£12 each) buying 2 of them and another clothing item at £1 (to take you to the £25 spend), then the glitch will take off the cost of one hoodie, leaving £13 to pay, then £5 off with the voucher, leaving a total of £8 to pay (the glitch on 2 hoodies and 2 leggings at the larger sizes leaves you £11 to pay after all this).

Personally, because my DD wears leggings pretty much constantly, and you can mix the colours and sizes, I think its a better deal getting the 4 items for £11, than the 2 items for £8, but not everyone is the same. Good to know it works both ways :).

I see (I guess the better deal is dependent on what you will use) - I got the 4 items for £8 with the voucher (2x hoodies and 2x leggings) for my DD but was buying the smaller sized hoodies and as you say leggings are always handy :)
