I wanna callibration system

hi

We use our computers for photography a lot and are interested in finding a system to callibrate our monitors and printers. I know getting someone else to do it is pricey, has anyone used and bought a reasonably priced system of their own?

If so, where did you get it from, and how much was it?

Many thanks in advance

CS

    Hello celticsprite

I think that the techie wizards will probably help, so I'll move your thread over to the 'Techie Stuff' board.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

I have seen the Spyder calibration system mentioned on photo forums:

Not something I've used myself, but I hope it provides some help.

Personal Computer World magazine uses the "Datacolor Spyder2 Pro" calibration system (see this month's issue or this webpage). Seems pretty cheap to me at £187!
