I took up the free trail offer allowing me to download 50 songs for free. So I could try the service to see what it was like. I cancelled my subscription after after downloading the 50 free songs. I have just got my bank statement today and E music have taken £14.99 for the subscription, even though I cancelled my account

"6.1 By registering for the Service, you agree to pay the fees designated for the Service level you select in accordance with our Pricing and Payment Terms, which can be found at http://www.emusic.com/messages/plans.html. Subject to your right to terminate the Service prior to the expiration of a Trial Period, if any, as described in the following section, you agree to pay the applicable amounts for the minimum period specified therein. "
I struggle to understand that last sentence!
"6.3 If, when registering, you signed up for a subscription with a "Trial Period," you will be allowed a period during which you can try out the Service. Only one Trial Period subscription is permitted per person. IF YOU TERMINATE THE SERVICE PRIOR TO THE EXPIRATION OF THE TRIAL PERIOD, YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY FURTHER OBLIGATION WITH RESPECT TO THE VERSION OF THE SERVICE TO WHICH YOU HAVE COMMITTED AND ANY REMAINING TRIAL PERIOD DOWNLOADS WILL EXPIRE; IF YOU DO NOT TERMINATE AND DO NOTHING, YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY SUBSCRIBED TO EMUSIC AND BILLED BASED ON THE PAYMENT PLAN SELECTED WHEN YOU REGISTERED (OR AS YOU MAY HAVE UPDATED THROUGH THE "MY ACCOUNT" SECTION OF THE SERVICE). The Trial Period will expire upon the earlier of (i) your having downloaded a specified number of tracks from the Service or (ii) a certain number of days following the date you initially sign up for the Service (refer to the confirmation provided on the site or via email for the specific terms of your Trial Period). Once you have exceeded the maximum number of downloads permitted during your Trial Period you will only be able to download additional tracks if your subscription to the Service is continued (or you are automatically subscribed as provided in this paragraph 6.3 above). "
If you have abided by this (and can understand it all!) then you should be able to get a refundBaby Milk Action is a non-profit organisation which aims to save lives and to end the avoidable suffering caused by inappropriate infant feeding.0 -

Have you spoken to your bank or card issuer to see if they are able to do a chargeback? They may be able to help as the company has taken the money without permission?Weight Loss - 102lb0
