Hi everyone,
Looking to go to Edinburgh for 2 nights in November. Looking on the travelodge website there's a few in Edinburgh! Which one have you stayed at and would recommend and why?
Thanks!

I've stayed at the Edinburgh Central Travelodge on St Mary's Street. It's really well located, and the bar area was nice enough, but we had a room facing onto St Mary's Street and it was pretty noisy. The street was cobbled, if I remember rightly, and we found it quite difficult to drop off to sleep. Very little parking, either.
I believe there is a new one just recently opened, Waterloo Place, so I'd be interested to hear any views on that one. From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0 -
I've stayed in a few.
Central is noisy and a bit shabby. It has a limited amount of on-site parking which is handy if you're driving.
Haymarket is a rabbit warren and pretty grim. Avoid.
Shandwick Place is not too bad but can be pretty noisy too.
Personally, I'd check out the Haymarket Premier Inn. Good location, quiet and much nicer rooms than the Travelodges.0 -
I've booked Cameron Toll tonight for four nights next week as it's near where I need to be and was recently opened, I saw them building / refurnishing it earlier this year. So we will see Monday.0

West end was very quiet when we stayed there, although its out of town a bit.
Edinburgh airport TLodge is even more out of town but two nights at 25p a night was too much to resist.0
