i cant seem to find the answer anywhere, also this person is single and lives alone, but has been turned down for DLA, so isn't able to get that.0

If they're not claiming DLA, IB is very likely to be more than what the government says they need to live on - therefore, no IS.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

According to entitled to, it depends on whether the incapacity benefit is long or short term, and higher or lower rate. I put in an age of 26, left out all the rent and council tax questions, and presuming no other income it said no to the short term lower rate IB, and a possible £2.05 a week for the long term IB (the £94 IB rate).
So possibly, but not a massive amount.
Out of interest, why are you looking at claiming for them, can't they do it themselves? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

It would also depend on whether they qualified for the Age Addition.Gone ... or have I?0
