There is another word I could use but wont!
I rang them to renew my claim and to tell them about a change in circumstances and was told they would have to stop my claim due to the changes. I had to phone them back with some childcare details as I didn't have everything that they needed which I did. Sat and waited for them to sort out new claim .....nothing... so have been trying for the last couple week to get through to them to find out what is happening as now owed nearly £400 and I've had to pay out for all the childcare extra and now on breadline.
Well finally just got through to them to find out that I have no claim as it was terminated!! So explained no it was a change of circumstances not end of claim.......well only turns out the last man I spoke to when I gave all the childcare detail didn't reinstate the claim!!! So been sat here waiting with no money because some prat can't do his job properley ....don't mind me I'll struggle on, on my own ....... stupid prat.
Right sorry rant over!
Is there anyway/anywhere I can complain??? or at least get my phonecharges back from??

I had cause to complain, and first went through to the dept manager, who sorted it out so that must be your first port of call. Then tell him/her you wish to take it further. and don't forget to send any letters signed for.
I know i will probably get shot down in flames, but the tax credit dept is a shambles, theres far to much of putting the phone down, then thinking blow you. why can't they get their act together is beyond me. Ok ok we get back pay but that doesn't feed little ones tummies!0 -

Do you have any evidence to back up this claim?0 -
I think the op is pretty good evidence of this, my claim dragged on for 12 weeks while they continued to spell my sons name wrong, i rang up 19 times to correct this and it wasn't until i wrote a letter of complaint that it finally got paid. Page after page on this forum tells of continual errors made by this dept. there is all the proof you need.0
