Its a completely pointless question we have no idea what the car is worth, the spec, where you live, your driving history, how far you drive, your family size, your age, occupation etc etc .... all those questions you answered when you got the policy make a difference.

So if you followed this guide then you got a good price.

Depends on you, your area, and your ncd.
I'm old(ish), in the country, full ncd, and pay £200 for a year on a 1.8.
I have seen silly amounts quoted though, over £1000 a year.

MX5huggy thanks for the reply, but i did say it depended on circumstances?! I was just being nosey what the different prices come in at for 7 seaters as quite a few people seem to have them.

    Mikey 72 thanks x
  • Used to run a 12 seat V8 powered Land Rover, for fully comp for £30 odd a month ......
    That was thru the NFU.

I've got a 2L passatt est. 2yncb ( had a bump previously - nothing serious but 'apparently' cost £3500 to repair the taxi I hit which pulled out onto a round-a-bout then stopped!) and that's £57 pm. F driver over 35.

Ah well ours is a 1.6 petrol and me and dh both have good driving history..second car with business insurance, fully comp, 10k per year..etc but they didnt ask where it would be stored or if it had an immobiliser which could poss knock it down couldn't it? Direct line this was with. We are paying double you are so does vary hugely.
  • Mine was about £200 - £240pa fully comp
