I asked them how to set it,they said I should activate it.Later
I tried ringing my own number from my mobile,it just rang and rang and rang.
I rang Primus and told them. They told me to ring 1571 to see if it was set up.I said it clearly wasn't,but that I would try this "sigh".
I tried this, didn't get any message.Rang them back, they asked me how I was getting on with the fault on my line,I said forget that for now ,can we just deal with this.(More of that on another thread if necessary)
Then they said it would be set up in 3 working days.It seems the staff so far have not understood how to activate voicemail.Anyone else had this problem.

On behalf of your friends and family, can I urge you to get an answering machine instead.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=3666273&postcount=3Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
