Hi
I have just purchased a car and only need £2600 and have been looking for days and think 0% credit card may be best option as I want it paid off asap - probably 12 months.
Whats the best cards? But as I need to pay/transfer £2600 is there any way I could get a guaranteed limit?
If I can't looks like I'll be getting a loan from Post Office - they seem to have the lowest apr (13.9%)

No, you cannot get guaranteed limit. They will give you how much they think you can manage.
What is your credit history like?
Will the dealership take credit card for payment or do you actually need a Super balance transfer (cash transfering) card?0 -
MBNA/Virgin tend to do high limits and allow transfer to bank accounts0

That is the one I was thinking of...
But if she doesn't have any/little credit history she is likely to get rejected.0 -
My Credit is good, never had a bank charge in my life and currently use M & S card think limit is 3000 on it.

Saw virgin, might try application tonight. See what I get0 -
I was in a similar situation recently.
I applied for an MBNA card.
They seem to do decwent credit limits and relatively long periods.
I got £7K credit limit and got the card very quickly.
I never bought the bike in the end (didn't like it on the test ride), but it's helped me in budgetting for a holiday.0 -
I've seen many report that MBNA backed cards including Virgin are very generous.
I applied for one sometime ago now, when I had £3500 to clear onto 0%, was really surprised to get a £6000 limit.0 -
I've applied for a virgin one will wait and see.
My credit must be really good as I've never been refused for anything but as I pay things off and borrow little and have no mortgage it may go against me.0 -

I applied for a Barclaycard thinking I would get a couple of grand to cover costs for my wedding and as it was 0% seemed ok.
I received the email to say congratulations blah blah blah with confirmation of an £8000 limit.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0
