We are moving into a flat. We currently rent a BT line from our address. Is this portable and do we need to take out a separate contract? Many thanks.

I never dealt with residential lines on their own but when I was working for BT I saw plenty of people take a line from one property to another, not sure on the seperate contract issue but would guess it is per account, not line.
150 should be able to tell you though0 -
You normally take the number and not the line. Did you take a fixed time contract ie 1 year? mostly these are not time sensetive.
If your in the same dialing code area it should be fine to take with you.
Do you know if a BT line already exsists at the new flat?0
