Hi Martin!
can it be 10 years ago when we worked together on Simply Money?
I was one of the freelance sound supervisors who worked occasionally on the channel... i remember bringing in my sound effects collection on a couple of occasions for your slots! They were great fun to do. I've been a follower of yours ever since, although I'm sure you'd still find I've got plenty of bad financial habits... the main one being not giving over enough time to researching.
I look forward to working with you again sometime (.... you don't need a friendly neighbourhood Sound Engineer do you?)

Nice to hear from you KevinMartin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

I found it quite amusing, that my mate went to a property seminar, he paid a few thousand quid for it. He tried to convince me to do it as well, i didn't. After a while i noticed he had changed all his credit cards to the same as mine and various other financial products. I later found out that that is what they advised at the property seminar. I told him you could have got that info at moneysavingexpert.com for free (like i did and like i've told him a million times).
They guy is so financial savy he didn't feel he had to listen to a loser like me, only once he had paid for advise did he feel it was worth listening to. You may pay for what you get, but sometimes you don't have to. LOL0 -
I think you should be knighted by the queen for public services in finance - if there is such a position as you deserve more than some of the other people knighted.
BTW interesting background on how the site came about. why don't you have picture of your offices would love to see how your offices look like at MSE HQIfreebies

Martin, I've been a fan since September 2000 when I first had a digibox. You've saved/made me literally thousands in those 10 years, from credit card (was it called stooging?) through bargain hunting to mis-sold endowments.
Many, many thanks and please keep it coming.0 -
