Special delivery still not arrived

I have a special delivery item well 3 boxes sent on Monday 6th Sep, its still not arrived.

I check the number online and over the phone and they say its waiting for delivery/collection.

But at the local collection office they say its not arrived yet.

They are most unhelpful just telling me to wait longer. I have been waiting for days.

Is there anything else I can do to try and find out where my boxes are?

Is it with Parcel Force... if so it could be anywhere. I have had the same problem once before.
Special Delivery should have a guideline of delivery time. If they go past that you maybe able to claim you postage back.

As for the parcel if it is tracked and they say the dont have it.. then it could be anywhere. If you have a number then keep phoning and make a fuss then that will they may get so fed up of you that they will make some sort of effort to try and track it down.

Sorry can offer any more advise but am sure someone else may be able to..

Im fed up with phoning so I am going to wait at the collection office until they can give me an answer. I have been doing this for days they are fed up with me already.

Its special delivery sent from outside the UK.

The funny thing is I have other boxes the exact same sent after the first 3 and have got these.

So the first three are just lost for now. But when putting the tracking number in they still claim it has arrived and waiting for delivery/collection.

What is the best thing to say to the man on the front of the collection office? Can I speak to the manager or something?

When I phone customer services they just say the computer says your delivery is waiting for collection. I said yes I know its said that for days but the collection office says they dont have it.

So what is my best course of action now?

Very grateful for any help in advance.

do you have a printer? it may be worth taking screenshot of the page which says it's ready for collection and taking that with you. At least then they cannot claim it's you who has got it wrong.

Does it state which collection office it is being held at or just say waiting collection? I was wondering whether it's gone to a different collection office.

Thank you very much, its just says "Your item with reference A**********GB has reached its PO Box and is awaiting collection/delivery."

It doesnt state the collection office so will check this also.

Which country is it coming in from, could it be waiting for duty and tax charges to be calculated? Also exactly what service was used, special is of course a UK internal postage service and could not be used for items coming in from abroad.

Coming from Germany.

Now have found out stuck in customs, so not the Postoffices fault.

But the POffice shouldnt have said its waiting for collection?

Why would it be stuck in customs? We are the EU as is Germany! You'll probably never find out though.

I do know why, its silver bullion and the government doesnt like it coming into the UK.

Silver bullion in the hands of the general public is dangerous because they cant control you like they do with paper fiat currencies.

It doesnt put me off one but, I am more determined than ever to get my silver.
