Norton/Symantec have a FREEware tool available for download that they describe as a last resort when all other methods have failed to remove the malware that infests your system.

They also stress that only those with fairly advanced knowledge of removing malware should attempt to use the tool.

Anybody used this tool? If so, how did you find it's usability etc? Did it cure the problem or cause more problems by deleting necessary registry entries etc?

Have you had a chance to use/test it yet? What did you think?

No, I don't get infected and haven't the time to deliberately infect a machine with various malware in order to evaluate it.
