I sold my old one on ebay and only got £9 for it?

I only sold it becuase it didn't match my new kitchen and my new oven is naf (that's naf not neff!!)

Haven't been able to make good yorkshire puds since.

So moral of the story is to look out for a decent second hand one on ebay or adtrader. There are some real bargains to be found if you're flexible on the colour

  • Was it a very old cooker though? Don't think I'd pay loads for an old cooker, but if it was quite modern, I'd cry to only get £9. Still, it's a buyers market!

Wow that is a great piece of luck you got, has made me think again about how to go about getting a new fridge freezer as the freezer part of ours has died completely and living out of one freezer is proving difficult especially as i am getting more and more in to this OS thing;)

No it wasn't even that old (about 4 years) it was a double slot in one but the colour is out of fashion at the mo (dark chocolate)

Somehow I don't think I'm about to become an EBay power seller!!

Hi QueenB my fridge freezer packed in a few months ago and I bought one off ebay for £30.00, again she was getting rid of it as it didn't match her kitchen. My husband picked it up and it's super - she had really scrubbed it, it was nearly brand new - I was well chuffed. If you can't get on ebay, there are always the freeads and the advantage of them is you can view the item before purchase.
