Mine are getting worse!!!! Out of 4 orders 2 have been late, (one 2 and half hours late, the other half an hour). 1 didn't turn up till the next day and the other was just a disaster with things like 6 packs of lettuce, 5 pates, 7 sandwich fillers when I had ordered one or two!!!! Have e-mailed customer service twice now and they just ignore it!!!!
Any suggestions as to who to call or write to cos itis just not on!The victims we know so well

Same here........I don't see why when you bring to the attention of the driver the order error WE then have to ring a call centre at our expense in time and money, a foreign call centre as well, and then get absolutely nowhere and be told that the local ASDA will ring back...........I'm still waiting..............never again!0 -

Hi Everyone,
Seems a bit of a mixed bag - but it is fairly new. This is probably one of the effects of joining The Mighty Walmart. Big US chain as you know. I lived and worked in US for a few years as a Customer Service Manager.
Asda's customer service is usually excellent. Keep calling your local Asda, noting date + time. Ask to speak to someone other than the Customer Service desk. When you get fed up if they say sorry, the Manager/ Whoever isn't here, say you'd like to speak to whoever has responsibilty for the store at the moment. make sure you give details of never being called back. Or ask when the Manager will be in.
If this doesn't provoke the desired results, write to the local Asda Manager - their name is on your till receipts. Say you are not only making complaint about delivery problem but also that you've been in touch and had problems with Customer Service ignoring you. If your nice Asda Manager doesn't get back to you, write again and more sternly - after all they've had ample time to respond to you - and have it sent recorded delivery.
Your efforts should not be in vain - the bigger the boo boo, the bigger the compensatory action, so keep going until you get a satisfactory result - DON'T STOP! Much luck guys - we have to maintain all service standards and that's only done when people follow through on their problem. I have to say on the 2 ocassions i have had a problem with my (mega cheap!!) online order, i have got a brilliant result from the indian call centre. I had so much taken off one bill's amount that it only actually cost £1.18 including delivery! Both times I've had the £3.99 delivery refunded without having to get agitated at all. Tip: DON'T email them, they NEVER answer. Give 'em a ring, check out https://www.saynoto0870.com for the FREEPHONE number!I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

On the e-mail side of things I agree, have fired off at least 3 e-mails in the last week each one a bit more irate than the last. To date no reply! Phoned the call centre (the home shopping 0845 one, informed today that it is South African!!!!) and spoke to some female who phoned the home shopping manager at the store to make a formal complaint on my behalf (this was on Wed) who surprise surprise was in a meeting. Assured by said female that she would get him/her to call me to discuss the delivery problems I have experienced. Today (Sat) still no reply so called their other number for Customer Relations spoke to some one else who is apparently phoning the store again today. I am determined to at least get back my delivery charge as once again delivery was late. If I don't hear from them in the next 30 mins am gonna pay the store a visit. By the way its the Asda in Cumbernauld any one else had delivery problems with them? The victims we know so well

I drive for ASDA and had a problem the other day with a customer who had 2 packs of coleslaw and 3 pizzas delivered when she only wanted (and thought she'd ordered) one of each. I asked her to show me the e-mail confirmation which clearly stated 2 coleslaw and 3 pizzas. She said she never looks at the confirmation. If she had, she could have tried to ammend her order or call the customer helplineor the local store, before delivery, to try to sort out the problem. Generally speaking, us drivers deal with refunds on any substituted items not suitable.
I'm not saying mistakes aren't made but please check your confirmation e-mails when they arrive.
