Property Snake - I Hadn't Been Looking/Hadn't Realised

I'm sure we all use property snake. Thing is, I've been forgetting to.
What happens is: you go to the home page, it loads, the biggest drops are on the front page, you type in the area you're actually interested in ... and stare at them, maybe click. Job done. Bit dull ... which is why I don't go there often.
Well, I just loaded up PS for the first time in a couple of months and all the houses on the home page are for 47-52% off.
Now, before people chirp and say "yeah, but, no but..." the thing is, that first page never really ever had much more than 10-20% off, for years.
So I thought I'd start a thread on it. Just because I can.

I've never heard of it! I'm looking at some in the local area now - 1045 days listed and 24% down is one that jumps out.0

Pastures New is just a sad little weirdo who needs to get a life. Every single time I come on here (which is very rarely) PN is ALWAYS online. Talk about a loser and saddo!
Not my fault she lives in a grubby bedsit in a sh1tty part of the country and has no friends. Her only 'friend' is this site. Sad or what?
She needs to realise that properties have RISEN in the last year, there's been some VERY small drops - but mainly in the sort of areas PN resides!
I'm speechless (almost) - that was a nasty attack and completely uncalled for.
I don't particularly agree with the OP (nor do I really want to, having recently bought :rotfl:) and it doesn't reflect what I see around here, but I didn't think it warranted such a venomous and personal response. "Talk about a loser and saddo" - the words "pot", "kettle" and "black" come to mind. I don't think I've ever bothered to check who is or isn't online when I am - smacks a bit of stalking to me... Seems to me like "Honeypopper" is perhaps dealing with some deep-seated frustrations?0 -

Anyway, I'm sure PN doesn't need me to fight their battles against someone who takes time out of their busy schedule to abuse people on the Internet.0 -
Yes I do, as a saddo I can't fight my own battles.mynameisdave wrote: »

I don't do confrontation. No point. But I do enjoy it when others wade in.
Thx.0 -
I've joined the (no doubt) long queue of people reporting honeypopper for abuse...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Just logged on to do it.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

I don't usually post but I am a regular lurker, and I just logged in specifically to say that the attack on Pastures New was dreadful, and completely uncalled for. I can't report because of a glitch, but I just wanted to say that Pastures New is a respected member, who is helpful and who has a sharp wit which I very much appreciate.
Said wit is not usually sharpened on a rather inoffensive post about property drops.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0
