we sold our house 5 weeks ago the survey has been done now the sol rings my husband today and the buyers soli wants us to pay for an indemnity policy on the conservatory which was already on the house when we purcahsed 8 years ago when we bought the house this was never a problem.
and our soli never mentioned any of this then basically we need to prove how long the conservatory has been on the house from what i can understand i'm really mad:mad: :mad: as they have quoted £180 any help would be appreciated

When you say you've "sold", do you mean you have completed or that you've received an offer?
I can only say that when we sold this summer, we had to purchase indemnity insurance for an extension which was already in place when we bought the house. It cost us £200. You may have to foot the bill if you want to keep the sale.0
