is there VAT on foreign holidays?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

thanks geordieracer - I thought I'd read that before...so if there's no VAT on foreign holidays there shouldn't be a price increase relating to the impending VAT increase.

The price of a booked holiday didn't go down when VAT was reduced to 15% last year, I read at the time that they don't attract VAT so would assume there will be no increase.

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

There was previous thread on VAT and holidays when VAT was about to be reduced to 15% which discusses whether VAT is payable or not
