Campsite in Lake District Recommendations please?

Hi
I'm looking for some help in locating a suitable campsite in the Lakes please?
I've never camped here before but quite familiar with Windemere and Ambleside area which probably has the most for us as a group to do as I'm going with my mum dad and 3 year old.
Looking for somewhere with shower facilities and easy walk into local village (would prefer Windemere/ Ambleside/ South Lakes area but more than willing to try out an excellent recommendation elsewhere!)
