I don't think it has been mentioned here yet, but forgive me if it has. A guy last year in America started with a paperclip and said he wanted to trade up to a house! With a lot of help from the press he done it, and quite quick too!

    Here's the website: http://oneredpaperclip.blogspot.com/

As for what we are planning here, it is great! But, to put it into perspective. Imagine doing it with £10? The majority of us can get the FHM thing going, but just imagine you were starting with £10. In 11 weeks you would them have £10,240. Or start with £100 you would have £102,400. I know we are going the cheap route, but just imagine how hard it will be. We will happily keep gambling our pounds to get 2, but would we be as happy to gamble our £512?

This is a great idea, and WILL be very tough. Good luck to all.

I lost my FHM. I didnt win on the Bingo (If you havent seen that one check out the gambling board for a free £5, no reg required). But I was at the beach with my daughter on Saturday and found 10p, which I put in a fruit machine and won £3! So that is where I will start.

Off to change my sig now!

Think he's Canadian (I'm only pointing this out as I'm doing all I can to become Canadian myself!)...but definitely worth trying!

I don't think anyone here is planning to gamble their money - we all know that's a sure-fire loser. The only amounts being gambled are the free £5'ers and some of the winnings. Good point though - it's easy to start with but will get progressively harder - we'll all have to be VERY creative with our ideas.

Right.....I want to play too.....I've got a free £15 sitting in a betfair a/c which I've never used.....can that count? Also, where do you get this free £5 bingo thing.....and does anyone want to PM me a referral link?

    Thanks

The Canadian guy was the inspiration for my listing on ebay.... I have had some amazing emails regarding this!

Can you let The Stationary Cupboard know Little Red is on his way... dropped him off in the Red postbox on the way back from school this morning....!!

I think most people have been on the NOTW bingo site - once you register there is a 'space' to put a code for a free £5.... I think Emily and Tinkerbell hit it lucky there. I think the details are in the 'gambling and intro...' thread, but the web is https://www.notwbingo.co.uk - once you've registered I think the code is BINGO FREE £5 - though I may have got that wrong...

    Good luck

EDIT - just checked thread and the code is correct.

Well, I may have to disagree with that. Everything that is done to gain money for free is gambling. I wasnt talking about betting, but gambling. It is a gamble to buy something from anywhere then hope to make a profit. It is a gamble to get something for free then sell it. that was more whatI was talking about.

As posted above the link for bingo is there, and a bit of fun too! enjoy
