Thank you - I've received a load of stuff from people for the cardmaking but I wouldn't be able to sell them on Ebay for this challenge. All the money I make from the cards goes to Joshua's fund.

OOOOh I didn't mean taking stuff you'd collected for that - I meant separately - sorry if that came across all wrong!

Another idea....if any of you have any particular talents like making things or hairdressing or whatever, could you offer them to your friends and family in return for some money? Would that count?
  • have done a spreadsheet on my pc

with a column for the piggy points converted to betfair cash, ebay sales, amazon sales and money i find on the street, pub etc
Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO

That's ok - thank you for the suggestion :o

That's a good idea about the doing stuff for cash - my mum does some waitressing at the weekends sometimes and I get asked to do it too sometimes when they are short staffed.

Thanks to those who PM'd me regarding Rpoints - keep spending as I don't get my bonus till you reach 2500 points!!!!!

  • £1 from Swapits added to my total - not a lot but every bit counts! I have money due in form quico tomorrow, (a lot of it is from 'free' things so will have to separate it out for this challenge).
I'm planning to do a car boot next weekend and have a few freebies and lots and lots of sim cards to sell so hopefully will get something out of that!
Have booked some mystery shopping work for this week as well.
Will do my 'goal chart' this evening. Thanks again for this idea ehallett!

Hey ehallett - why don't you try and collect some material and make up some of the cards you're also doing for the Joshua Fund - they look fab and should be great sellers.

By the way - who'se selling the 10 red paperclips......I'll buy one if it's an Arsenal supporter!

    :D

'Tis me..... Finally confessed - now I've sold 3 of them..... I believe you may be my 4th purchaser!!

Little Red is looking forward to a journey to North London....

That's really good Annie - I've got a spreadsheet on Excel that I have been using. I've only got 50p 'spendable' cash at the moment as everything else is tied up in items waiting to be sold :D

I've got a spread sheet too with all my bits on. Taking out ebay listing fees, paypal & postage etc...

As for spendable cash I've got 24p left! I was planning on hitting the car boots this morning - but its just bucketing down, and although I might have got some bargains as there may not have been many people around, the thought of taking DD and DS round a wet muddy field did not fill me with much joy! Bought material instead... off to make things this afternoon with my sewing machine...

Wow - you've sold 3? Did they go for £1 each? I need to get some paperclips from work me thinks ;)

Yes - each for a pound - and I've had some amazing correspondance about them... I get the feeling that I may need to start a blog about this....
