Hi boys & girls! Haven't updated for a wee while cos I wanted to see if I could get to £512 first - well, finally made it, mainly through matched betting/arbing but have also finally sold the phones my B-I-L gave me & some more books on GM and old computer games my kids donated to me on ibootsale.
Don't think I'll make it to the £1,024 target by next week or even before Xmas but I'll carry on for a bit. The car MOT & insurance is due January at rip-off Northern Ireland rates so it'll mostly be going towards that.
Getting busy now what with Xmas coming up but still gonna keep batterin' away here!0 -

Am hugely impressed by your bookselling Annie...blimmin amazing! :T :T
I invested £30 in a Limited Edition Pink GHD travel bag with all the products but no straighteners from a little local hairdressers today....I would SOOOOO like to keep this for myself, but the bag alone fetches £30 on ebay....shall I or shan't I??
Have just done some market research online and am waiting for some mystery shopping money - not a lot, but it all adds up.
NOTICE!!!!!...For anyone with a Lloyds a/c...to encourage saving, they're doing a scheme from next Feb whereby they round up all your debit card purchases to the nearest pound and sweep the extra into your savings a/c....for the first two months, they'll also match this up to £50/month....a great, cost-free way to save and get a little freebie at the same time. Worth checking out people...and you could use the savings a/c for all your challenge money next year!!!!0 -

Can you tell me which company you use for online research - I do lots of mystery shopping but would love to earn online too. Thanks for the Lloyds tip got to be worth opening an account, do you know what they are calling account? Could be a good card to R&R on as you have lots of purchases and then lots of refunds:T0 -
Have a look at lloyds.co.uk website as it's on the home page. Check the terms to see if the savings are affected by R&Rs but don't think so. I always R&R with cash as have had lots of hassle in my local store.
Most of my market research is through a couple of local ladies....a great earner. But check out indiefield.net......that's who I just did this one for. They have some amazing jobs pay wise, but are very strict on you fitting the criteria. Another market research company (based in London though) is Criteria Fieldwork and they're always looking for people.0 -

Hi
Got £72 from Quidco:
£40 - opened two credit cards for 0% BT for a friend, and £32 is for openning accounts with a couple of bookies!
Listed two Benefit freebies on ebay and got 14 watches and 4 bids. Totals are not great, but we'll see.
Things are looking up again.
Best of luck to everyone! Keep going!

Wow!!!! :T
I found it - in a 'safe' place - a drawer! Now why was that the only book I decided to put in a 'safe' place - all other books were clearly visible!
Do you work as well, or make a living just from selling books?MFW #185
