  • I've got a question on the money for nothing aspect. A year back my house was robbed and most of my good jewellery was taken. I was insured so was paid out about 80% of the value of what I lost. So I bought more jewellery.

I'm reselling some of that jewellery on ebay now, so I'm wondering if it would be covered under the money for nothing challenge. I bought my original jewellery which was taken, but the jewellery I'm selling didn't cost me anything as I bought it from insurance money.

    Thanks,
    tamara
  • Wouln't have thought so as you had to pay out for the jewellry out of your own pocket in the first place... maybe someone else can advise?

  • Personally I wouldn't have thought that would count as originally you bought the jewellery that was replaced with the insurance money? Which you also lost 20% on?
I've sold quite a few vouchers that I had got by doing surveys online, so that has helped my total, I also got £30 for something on ebay that I was given, my ebay sales seem to be going ok.

Well it seems I messed up my first bet... :o Luckily I went for the £10 one to start off and not a £50 one, that could have been interesting. The bet isn't settled until later tonight so I'm not sure how things will pan out yet... What a muppet, I chose my username well! :rotfl:

Edited to say I don't think I have messed up now.. just me doing things the wrong way round!! :)

I just received £20 in the post from my Dad! It's meant for a hen night this weekend but I will add it to my pot because I have some paypal cash coming to me for non-challenge stuff to cover the weekend... :D
