Ebay sales going well, hoping to add about £25 soon, although I don't like to actually add it until the money is in my hot little hand, for the purposes of morale (mine and the little one) as soon payment has cleared and item posted will update our total!0

Thanks Soolin - just to add, I did offer the person a refund, I only asked that they wait a few more days in case the book turns up. I will refund their £1.75 via Paypal within 48 hours if they still say it has not arrived.
I had already left them feedback for quick payment, how should I handle them leaving feedback for me? I just worry if they say 'buyer refunded book that never arrived' that invites others to claim an item didn't arrive?
Updated siggy - up to £113 now!MFW #185

Well done on your total BTW!
If you refund then unless the buyer is really feeling aggrieved they should still leave you positive feedback, so wait and see what happens. Don't ask for feedback though just in case . Daft advice I know, but you would be surprised at how many people would ask the buyer for feedback !
If they did leave anything other than a positive respond to it calmly pointing out that full refund was given. I know they are messing about with feedback at the moment (improving things again no doubt..ie breaking it) but it should still be possible to follow up the positive you have already left and say sorry item lost, refund given, or something.
Good luck

Hi all,
My ebay phone is now up to £28, next time I'll add a code as I've just worked out what was this meant 'doh' !!! Anyway, I have and inherited coin collection and stamp collection.
I don't think the coins are worth much as none of them are mint and they are just kept in a big box! I rekon I could get 50p - £1 for each of them but it would take an awfully long time to sell individually. I have absolutly no idea about stamps though...don't even know what most of them are.
Any advice you could give re selling these colections would be great.
Cheers all:j0 -
Got an email from Betfair this morning offering me a free £10 bet cos I'd signed up but hadn't put a bet on yet - as this was because they wouldn't take my debit card it's not much use to me yet (in the process of getting a different one) but it might work for you who haven't tried matched betting yet, ie register with Betfair but then wait a few days and see if they send you a free bet.
Re: postal orders - all postal orders have a serial number & uncrossed ones can only be cashed in a post office, therefore with the serial number (on the receipt) it is possible to trace when & where a postal order has been cashed. Buyers, therefore, can be called upon to prove that the postal order they allegedly sent has been cashed. If it has not, there is no proof of theft.0 -
I've sold my silver rolo this morning on Amazon... £22.92 to add to my total as it was a present from my ex! Things are looking up, just hope my other stuff sells too. :j0

Oh no... you could end up using your £1024 for replacing the ceiling! Hope it's just a bit damp and no major damage. :eek:0 -
Opps Mossy - at least you hopefully won't make that mistake again, (live and learn!)Start every day by telling yourself how beautiful and intelligent you are0

Errm you don't want to know how many times I've done that. But since we replaced the ceiling I've done it twice in about three years so I have almost learn't my lesson apart from when I get a bit too distracted. I don't deserve any sympathy but thought it was mildly amusing for those not involved in it.
I did it loads of times when I was pregnant with munch because I'd have a lie down while the bath was running (takes about 15/20 minutes to fill) and then I'd wake up half an hour later to find the bathroom and kitchen flooded.
Have cleared up mess and will wash all the now sodden towels so no major harm done apart from a smack on the wrist for me.
My buyer has paid so I'm going to go and get some more packaging stuff and then go to the post office, its been a while since I did ebay and I'm running low on parcel paper. Was worried about scare stories with paypal so have upgraded my account to cover me with protection although its too late for this one, mind you the address is confirmed so I'm sure all will be fine.Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0
