ESA appeal won - when will I be backdated to

I started a claim for ESA in July last year, placed into assessment phase the 13 weeks for which should have ended in middle of October but I only had my medical in December and received decision that I failed to get enough points from the medical at the start of January.

I immediately appealed the decision which was heard today and I won being placed in the work related activity group. I'm aware that I am due a backdated payment from the DWP but am unsure as to if this will be backdated to when the assessment phase should have finished (middle of October) or if it will only be backdated until the date of the incorrect decision.

I've searched on internet and on this forum and had conflicting reports with some suggesting its the end of week 13 and others suggesting its the date of the incorrect decision. Anyone know for definite which date I should be backdated to?

As a matter of pure interest, not that I now have an appeal to go to, which area in England was it held?
In Kent, they are to list in March 2011 for appeals lodged in Jan 2010 - 15 months!

The result was a bit of a shock as the Doctor they had there ripped into me a bit with my argument on the one descriptor I did score on and they upheld the DWPs decision to award 6 points on that descriptor. Thankfully they also awarded 9 points on another descriptor which the DWP had failed to score me on which took me to the required 15

You will be paid the backdated money after the first 13 weeks of the claim.
