Hayes (the car manual people) also do one about babies. Think it would appeal to most men - how a baby works!!!!!

All the best on your imminent arrival!
  • What a lovely idea! I'm sure he'll love that!

I am due at the end of October and have just made one of these for my DH -

In fact, I have done 2 - 1 from me and 1 from Sprog.

In the one from me ("The essential dad stuff" one) I have put:
A nose peg (synchronised swimmer one)
    Ear Plugs
    Eye Mask
    Pro Plus
    Nytol
    Burping cloth
    Whiskey
    Book of Dad Wisdom
List of tall tails to tell your children - made from our childhood stories (inputs gathered from family with the stories our Dad's told us)

In the one from Sprog ("The New Dad's" one) I have put:
    I love Daddy Bib
    I love Daddy Baby Vest
Daddy is my hero mouse mat (you put a picture of the baby/dad in it)
    Top Dad mug
3 x story books for dad to read to sprog
    Toblerone (family joke)

He also has been given a sling to carry Sprog with a message saying that it Sprog was looking forward to being carried in it by Dad (already been given this) and he is getting a new Volvo to replace his sports car.

Hope this has given you some ideas.
