  • If anybody is going, get in the food queue before Perky especially if you are after the pies. Where are the stupid awards that were dished out last year?

Was it these awards, next 'gala lunch' is in March 2011:

    British Parking Awards

Includes this little gem of an award:

    'Young Parking Professional Award
This new award will recognise the rising stars of parking, people aged between 18 and 29 who represent the talent of the future. It is open to all local authorities and private operators to nominate an individual parking employee, consultant or contractor who has consistently made an outstanding contribution to the industry and represents a ‘model of excellence’. In short, they will be a young person who has made a decision to firge {sic} a career in parking and its related activities.'

OMG. Imagine the waste of money these sorts of jollies cost Council Tax payers when Council Parking Teams attend, let alone the sickening presence of PPC knuckle-draggers. Makes one feel quite queasy! :(
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
