Tomtom from Amazon came with broken charger

And I need to use it this weekend!
Can I just return the charger to TomTom rather than returning the whole thing to Amazon? If so can anyone find a UK address for them?
I can charge it up via a mains charger I have and also via my laptop for the time being.
Thanks!

I imagine they will want the whole thing back, you could buy one from ebay but i suppose thats not the point0

I've always found Amazon very helpful. I bought a watch from them a couple of years ago, as a gift for someone, and when it came the battery was flat. I didn't have time to send it back so I got a new battery put in. I rang Amazon and they refunded the cost of having the new battery fitted. Didn't need to write in or send a copy of the receipt for anything. I'd just give them a ring, I doubt they'll want you to return the whole thing. You could suggest that they just refund the cost of a new charger.0

Also, try raising a support ticket on the TomTom website.0

Thanks, I've emailed Amazon, I'll see what they reply with before I contact TomTom

This may not be much use to OP now, but Tomtom themselves are usually great at replacing faulty chargers etc very quickly. One phone call and they usually deliver within about 5 days.
This is one of those cases where, although you have legal rights via the seller, the manufacturer is the best person to contact.
I bet you could, in a pinch, get a pretty cheap car charger with USB port to connect your sat nav to.0
