Need a new monitor

My monitor has stopped working (borrowed a friend's), I think it is just a transistor that has blown (found one loose in the back!) frustrating because it was a good monitor and a replacement transistor costs pence but I would never be able to repair it.

Anyway, I need a new monitor and fancy a widescreen one.

Any thoughts on whether this Samsung one is worth getting?

The Acer 21" widescreen still available, might go for it in absence of any others coming up at the moment.

You can pick u a flatscreen used monitor at most boot sales around the country for around £15 to £20. I bought an HP 17'' today for £19. Working perfectly.
