Just make sure you swap the immobiliser bit to the new key. It's a small black bit of metal which is housed in the bit with the buttons. I bought a new front for mine from eBay, swapped everything over (at least I thought I had) and chucked the old bit in the bin.
Went outside, tried the remote locking and it all worked. Tried to start the car and nothing happened.
Fished the old bit out of the bin and found the smallest bit of black metal in it. Put it in the new bit and all was well.0 -
