Ordered nintendogs labs and friends from cdwow. Seemed a decent price till the game arrived. They sent me the american version not for sale outside canada ect. If I had wanted this I could have got it at half the price on ebay. Has anyone else struggled with cdwow? Have emailed them and they say return to cyprus! Surely that isn't right and can I claim postage back. Thanks.

No need to send it back. I have an American copy of this game too. Your game will work fine, Nintendo DS games are not region specific. Games sold in every country will work fine on a DS bought here.

Won't be able to trade it in at many places though - most places won't take american games. For future reference, UK games have a "PEGI" or "BBFC" rating on, american ones have the "E" "T" etc. Uk ones have the age on the front.

Sell it on Ebay? The poster would get a lot more money for it than trading it in. I can't understand why the poster is concerned about getting a foreign DS game. I could understand if it was a game for a region specific console, but as I said, DS games work in any region.
