This looks like another picture of it, but the left side of the river and in the distance it clearly follows the same path.

    :)

Confusing though because according to this http://www.anglerinnovations.com/pages/kenai.aspx Turnagain Arm is to the north of the river. However, the Kenai river is 82 miles in total and runs through the Kenai National Wildlife refuge from here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenai_River.

I you look closely at the Kenai river picture just before the turn it has the same three dots which could be some form of plant as the pic for day 1. And also the same reflections in the water are visible. :)
  • Well both hubby and I received our PC newsletter emails this morning with points as at 10/9. Strange thing is the emails are completely different. Hubby's mentions the competition, mine does not!!

My email has a link to download a toolbar to IE and earn 300 points, hubby's does not!! Mine also has an advert for bonus points in certain German hotels  hubby's does not.

Really strange as we are both club status account holders!!

I've just received my mid month statement too, mine does mention the competition, the first time I've received anything about it from Holiday Inn. The points from the first week have not been added yet.

The river Kenai has the world record for largest salmon and as described above runs through the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.

Interesting however according to Wiki the Kenai is 82 miles. Would that count for flowing almost 100 miles?

my guess today is now : Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska USA

This is based on the all the info re Kenai river as that is definately correct however based on the the first two weeks all answers have been National Parks so unless they have changed this it should be a National Park again...

Please remember this is based on the clues and my opinion.....
