Good find but I think you're being too specific because clue 1 states:

Clue 1 - covered with miles upon miles of beaches

So I believe is the island they want, not a specific beach, otherwise it would be 'covered by miles upon miles of sand...'

Do you think they will want the lake or the islands name - it's the lake that borders the countries i guess so im thinking the lake - but the picture is of ther island - Esteves Island ! Hhmmm!
