Do you think we ever freak Martin out?

I very much admire Martin's integrity, compassion for other people, passion for what he does and his cleverness with numbers. I shouldn't think Martin would find this freaky - it's nice to be appreciated.
What Martin might find freaky is that he's the living double of one of my sister's exes, 'The Birmingham Boiler' (nick-named after an unfortunate laundry accident that resulted in a basket of very small 'smalls'). He's so like him that it always surprises me for a moment when he opens his mouth on telly and a Brummie accent doesn't come out, but I wouldn't be in the least surprised if I heard that he'd been chased down the street in error by an irate woman waving handfuls of tiny drawers at himHmmm. Now that IS freaky
Eek! Someone's stolen my signature! :eek:0 -

I had The Wright Stuff on this morning, and OH said to me "do you really want this?". I said well Martin Lewis is on the panel and I quite like him. OH said "hmm, yes you do, don't you", rolled his eyes and walked out of the room.
The point is, Martin has made himself public property really. As if his ownership of this site and his TV and radio appearances weren't enough, he even shares virtually his every waking thought with the world via his blogs.
All that without it going to his head too. He's quite inspirational as a human being, never mind his financial wizardry. More power to your calculator, Martin, may your energy never flag.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Martin seems like a thoroughly top bloke to me. Seems bloody happy doing what hes doing, and he does good work.
And he never gets ripped off I imagine either.
Seems like a good life to me, couldnt have happened to a nicer fella:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I think Martin is amazing, if only more people would give *real* every day advice like he does to the good public....
I don't think he realises just how much of an effect he has had on peoples lives, its not just financial, many a person on here has said how MSE has saved their relationships etc so really if I were Martin I would be very very proud of myself.
Martin, you are an :A0
