hello all,
i'm a ftb and trying to get an idea as to what i can expect to pay for insurance (bulding & contents, life and critical illness) if i buy a property? I know the exact amount i will pay is difficult to estimate, but just wondering if anyone could give an example of what it costs them a month / suggest any online calculators?
thanks in advance

Its very difficult to give you any idea of cost without knowing all the facts. You can get quotes for all the insurances you mention on comparison sites and this will be fine to give you an idea of costs. Once you have an understanding of what you need and how much you can afford you could speak to IFA or a broker. They will be able to go through all the different covers available and explain things to you in more detail.I am an Insurance & Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. If your buying a new house you could also ask your mortgage advisor I'm sure they would be happy to quote for you.I am an Insurance & Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
