It it just me or do you get a buzz out of saving/clearing debt?
I've recent started saving in an ISA as well as making he usual payment on the CC and I love it!
I get as much enjoyment out of paying say £500 off the CC as I do spending the £500 on a holiday. I just sit there looking at the statement with a big smile on my face!
I am just wierd or does everyone here really enjoy seeing that debt mountain collapse?

Are you paying interest on your CC? If so, you will be far, far better off forgetting about the ISA and paying the money off your card.My Debt Free Diary I owe:

I know the feeling so well, having my geek spreadsheet really helps, it also shows my average APR which is nice as I shift more onto 0% deals and pay the bigger rates.
As mentioned having savings while paying debts is pointless, with that I have a saving account which I pay £1 into each month and its called HOUSE FUND.
Nearly go everything on 0% now which will be an even better feeling, then watching my house fund rocket at the same rate when paid will be great.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Thanks for advice, yes, understand what you're getting at but ISA money is being built up until it matches my OD prior to payday. Then i'll transfer it so my account is always in credit.
Post that I'll put the £220pm isa money onto the CC so payment will be £770pm on a balance of about 9K, interest is circa £140 atm.0 -
Should add the OD interest is about the same as the CC so irrelevant where I pay first...however, CC account is frozen, the only credit I have available whatsoever is my OD balance once I've cleared it.
Will be good to have in case of emergency.0
