Lloyds Overdraft and Paying Money In HELP!

I went overdrawn by £20. I received the letter on Friday 3rd September to tell me about the overdraft and to let me know that I had fees of £60 to pay.
I went to the bank on Saturday 4th September and paid £100 into my bank account. However, the cash desks were shut so I deposited it into a cash machine using an envelope as per usual.
I keep checking my bank account online. It says I have £40 balance but £0.00 unavailable.
Why is it taking so long for it to get cleared and to get sorted? What is going on?

LTSB are NOTORIOUS for processing these payments as cheque instead of cash - means it'll take 3-4 working days.
Get onto the phone to them ASAP.
One of the reasons I no longer use them as my main bank.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
OK. Well I will wait until Friday to see what happens. Then if it has gone in I don't have to worry. If not, I will go in on Friday.0
