Help please - flying to Girona

We hope to take a short break in Barcelona, but the cheapest flights for the dates we would like to travel are flying out to Girona, with Ryan Air. Does anybody know the best way to get to Barcelona from Girona. Is there a train to Santes? Is there a train near the airport?

Check out alsa.es you can book,pay and print out timetables and once in barcelona use the metro its very easy and if you buy a multi ticket you can use it on the buses too.
The stations are sometimes accessible from the pavement so maybe only a small sign at ground level but once you find them the service is great.If you need to change trains or change to a bus from a train to complete your journey you still only pay once.

we done a weekend in barca from girona not long ago there is a barca bus that leaves 30mins after every ryan air flight. when you get into girona as you make your way out of the terminal there is a booth that sells return bus tickets its so simple to use.21 euros return. coming home you get the bus back from barca to the airport at the bus station Estacio d' Autobusos Barcelona Nord they leave every 20 mins or so hope this help
