SynTPEnh.exe on windows 7 problem?

Hi Guys
Got a new lappy 2 weeks ago and all is ok but when shutting down I have had the computer was waiting for the task SynTPEnh.exe to shut down.
Have windows 7 installed and also Bt netprotect. Any ideas???

what make/model laptop , there may be updated software

Thanks for the info Browntoa would you disable it or not? has come up the last 3 times when shutting the lappy down
