My hubby and his son are booked to go climb Kilamanjaro & a safari (sight seeing, not shooting) July 2007,I was wondering if anyone can recommend an insurance company,as i think they will need a high risk policy?
The company they booked with will of course insure them, but trying to see what other prices come in at...better still if can go through Quidco.
I have had a look, but most don't mention climbing etc?
Ages are 45 & 19 cheers in advance.

We are climbing Mount kinabalu end of this month. We are not covered under our annual insurance as it is a "guided climb". Insurance is included in our tour price though.0

You can call these guyshttp://www.thebmc.co.uk
they are very helpful, dont forget it is a serious undertaking and you must get proper cover:beer:0 -
To take out BMC travel insurance insurance you need to be a member of it, or an affiliated club, which can add to the cost.
Another specialist option is Snowcard http://www.snowcard.co.uk/pages/index.asp
I have used both insurers for climbing holidays in Europe. I believe both insurers use the same underwriter, Fortis.0
