Trees and power lines

Just to let you know that if you have trees/hedging interfering with power lines, you don't have to pay to get them cut back. Contact Central Networks (in the phone book) and they will survey it first. They will then schedule the work and do it for free!

Now I know why when I made a request to the Farmland owner adjoining our Garden about the overhanging branches touching our electric cables...he was very happy to oblige......not his usual scratch-head stance either.I should have realised it was done for Free.......hehe

This is in Supply area 11 only. If you have this problem and are not in this area then contact your local distributor they all have to do this. Not an option.

Actually they will shred it - so you can use it as a mulch on your borders! Not as sweet, but still practical!

Have heard the same rules apply to trees and domestic telephone wires.
