Hi there,
Does anyone know the best way to go regarding a weekend at Eurodisney? We want to get the best value for money as I think we will only be able to afford to go for 2 or 3 nights. We are in West Sussex, so could travel from Southampton or Gatwick OR happy to drive or go Eurotunnel....soooo daunted with all the different hotels and options available!
My son is 2, and depending on when we go next year, he will be 3 so we can't stay miles out. Have any mse readers been there?? Words of wisdom gratefully received.............

Witha 2 year old and all the paraphenalia that is required, I would say drive. It's the only way I would go now as it removes the hassle and time wasting of a flight. Especially as you have to get from the airport to the park. Eurotunnel is ideal as you are nearer to Folkestone than me(I live in Portsmouth) and an easy 3 hour drive( probably less) the other side. Camp Davy Crockey might be the best bet as well. Short drive to and from the park.
If you decide to drive then you will need approx 40 euros for the toll road, but it is worth it as it's a nice road to drive on. If you had more time I would say take the scenic route, but as you haven't then the toll road is best

Best value for money for an onsite hotel is usually in the period January to March, midweek. Try to avoid weekends, honestly the parks are much much busier at the weekends compared to midweek, because DLP is so close to Paris and the surrounding areas, so gets a lot of day guests on both weekend days. If you have to go over a weekend, try to choose a weekend that is a Francillien Annual Pass blackout weekend (as most local guests have Francillien passes, and they can't use them those weekends for park ticket access).0

Personally, I would never stay in the Disney Hotels. We always stay in the "accredited" ones instead. We have stayed in the Magic Circus, Dreamcastle & Explorers. All are a short free shuttle bus ride from the park. We prefer Explorers when travelling with a child.COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0
