Hi everyone,
I want to replace my old kitchen for a new one however, I've just measured 1 of the cabinet doors and it's 712mm, i can only find new kitchens with doors up to 600mm! am I doing something wrong?
I'm planing to replace my kitchen with a Wickes take away kitchen, could I write down all the measurements and take them to the kitchen designer at wickes and hopefully they'll have the size doors that I need?
any help gratefuly received!!!

Base cupboards are generally 720mm high with a 150mm plinth below them.
Wall units can come in a number of height but generally they are;
Short Wall Unit 570mm high
Medium wall Unit 720mm High
High Wall Unit 900mm high
The actual doors are generally 3 to 5mm smaller that the cupboard size so 712mm would be a medium wall units door, but could equally be replaced by a base unit door.I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -
Widths of doors are generally
300mm
400mm
450mm
500mm
600mm
This should cover most of what you require, multiples of doors are used for 800, 900, and 1000mm cupboardsI had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -
