If you keep an eye on the dell website they tend to have offers on 'reasonable' 15" laptops around the £350-£400 from time to time, otherwise the dmxdimension and dell outlet (refurb + new/custom built but cancelled order) are worth looking at, £300-400 should get you an up to date 'standard/mid range' laptop fine for everyday stuff but don;t expect to play many games on it.0
