Peugeot 207 CC Back Seats

The GF is hankering after a 207 CC but is a tadge concerned about the lack of boot space when the lid is down.

Now as anyone knows the back seats of a 207CC are only suitable for a dead body or an extremely small child and are useless in practice (unless you have a dead body or an extremely small child).

SO, is there, like on the original Renault Megane convertible, a solid lockable cover you can get to cover up the back seats and allow them to be used as storage?

You lose approx 50% of space when roof is down and the remaining space is about what you would have with a normal 207 hatchback although not same shape.

You can get a windstop that covers the back seats and would probably be enough.

Why does it need to be lockable? What is intended to be carried around and stored that needs to be locked away? You would only need it secure if you were leaving the car with roof down which would be silly.

With roof up it is actually a very large boot.

To make sure the dead body isn't found or gets stolen ;o))))
  • Ive got a 207CC and the boot is quite big, still have quite a bit of room under the roof when its down
When i have extra shopping bags etc i put them behind the front seats on the floor (Im short so drivers seat is forward a lot haha) or even backseat is fine even with the roof down, I dont leave the car roof down when im not in it anyway and dont think i would risk leaving it

Cold starry winter nights. Having a convertible is spectacular in winter provided the heater is good.
